• Het rijksmonument van oorsprong géén woonfunctie heeft. Bijvoorbeeld een museum, kerkgebouw, kasteel, paleis, hoofdhuis van een buitenplaats, landhuis, gebouw van liefdadigheid, molen, gemaal, boerderij of watertoren.
• U nog niet gestart bent met de werkzaamheden.

U komt in aanmerking als:

• U in een rijksmonument woont.
• U in het voorgaande jaar kosten gemaakt heeft voor instandhouding van uw monument.

Vanaf 1 maart tot en met 30 april is het weer mogelijk om woonhuissubsidie aan te vragen. De woonhuissubsidie is alleen bedoeld voor instandhoudingskosten aan monumentale onderdelen van het rijksmonument.

Zorgt u dat u alvast de juiste stukken voor uw aanvraag verzamelt, zoals:

• Gespecificeerde facturen
• Een inspectierapport (bij aanvragen boven de €70.000)
• In het geval van VVE’s, een verklaring waaruit de verdeelsleutel blijkt
• Foto’s van vóór en na de werkzaamheden

Note!
Verduurzamingsmaatregelen komen niet in aanmerking voor woonhuissubsidie. Hiervoor kunnen andere vormen van financiering worden aangesproken, bijvoorbeeld de ISDE of SVVE subsidie van de Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO), of een Duurzame Monumentenlening van het Nationaal Restauratiefonds.

Who is the grant for?

Owner-occupiers of a property in the province of Friesland

Terms

• The property is called a WOZ value lower than the average for the municipality.
• The house has energy label D, E, F or G or at least two poorly insulated building parts.
• The insulation work did not start before the application was approved.
• The insulation work is carried out according to the Nature-Friendly Insulation method.
• There is also a subsidy for "do-it-yourself" insulation.

What do you receive funding for?

• Façade insulation with an Rd value of at least 3.5.
• Cavity wall insulation
• Roof or attic insulation with an Rd value of at least 3.5.
• Glass insulation: HR++ or triple glazing
• Energy-efficient ventilation (note: only in combination with the above measures)

How much subsidy can you receive?

The grant will reimburse 100% of eligible costs, not to exceed €2,500 per home.

Extra subsidy for low-income earners

Low-income residents (up to €25,350 gross per year or €35,908 aggregate income) can receive additional money from the province Friesland to insulate their homes. The subsidy is for the same measures and comes on top of the municipal subsidy if the cost of the measures is higher. The maximum additional amount is €2,500.

When can you apply for a grant?

The Local Insulation Approach Friesland can be applied for from the municipality until July 1, 2026.

• The grant must be requested before agreeing to a bid.
• Only plant owners can apply for and receive subsidies.
• All necessary permits for the project have been applied for.
• The assignment must be made within one year of the grant award.

What do you receive funding for?

The SCE grant can be applied for generating renewable (sustainable) energy with solar panels, windmills or hydropower.

How does the grant work?

The SCE is an operating subsidy provided for the electricity generated by a plant (an amount per kWh). This amount is calculated as follows:

• Each year, the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL) sets a base amount for each type of installation. This amount per kWh is needed to make the installation profitable.
• The base amount applicable in the year of application remains the same throughout the 15-year grant period, providing certainty of return on investment.
• The subsidy per kWh is the difference between the base amount and a correction amount, which represents the market price for electricity. The PBL sets the correction amount annually.
• If the correction amount equals or exceeds the base amount, no subsidy will be provided.

Application Round 2025

The SCE grant will reopen March 3, 2025. Application is possible until Oct. 1. The 2025 rates for rooftop solar panels are more favorable than last year.

• The property is an existing home (no new construction) and is intended for rental.
• The rental property was rented before the measures were implemented.
• The work was performed no more than 12 months ago.
• The subsidy is a maximum of €10,000 per home. Are you installing a heat pump or solar water heater? Then the maximum is €15,000.

What do you receive funding for?

• Insulated glass and new window frames.
• Roof, wall, cavity wall, floor and bottom insulation.
• Heat pump or solar water heater.
• Energy efficient ventilation system.
• Energy advice (only in conjunction with sustainability measures)

Subsidy for insulating glazing

The SVOH scheme allows landlords to receive subsidies for insulating glass.
If you combine glass insulation (within 12 months) with roof, wall, cavity wall, or floor insulation, a heat pump or solar water heater, then you qualify for the higher subsidy amount.

Subsidy for insulation measures

The SVOH scheme allows landlords to receive subsidies for insulation measures. If you combine multiple insulation measures, a heat pump or solar water heater, you are eligible for the higher subsidy amount.

• Minimum area requirements apply: for facade and cavity wall insulation this is 10m2 per dwelling. For roof and floor insulation, a minimum of 70% of the total roof or floor area of the building must be insulated.
• It is not possible to apply for subsidies more than once for the same insulation measure.

Subsidy for a heat pump or solar water heater

VvEs can apply for a subsidy to install a heat pump or solar water heater for sustainable heating. The subsidy amount is calculated based on the capacity of the installation. Typically, the subsidy is between 20 and 30% of the cost.

Subsidy for a ventilation system

Grants are available for two types of ventilation systems and ventilation box replacement:

Grant for an energy consultation

Grants are available to perform an energy consultation, but only in conjunction with at least one sustainability measure.

How much subsidy will you receive?

You will receive a maximum subsidy of € 10,000 per home. If you also install a solar water heater or heat pump, this maximum is € 15,000.

You can get 50% discounted consulting fees, up to a maximum of €1,750 (excluding VAT) for a feasibility study or customized advice. You can then be reimbursed for further advice and guidance towards implementation 100% up to a maximum of €2,500.

Main conditions

• The property is a national monument
• The sustainability consultation is performed and billed by one of the nine selected DuMo consultants contracted for the de-care program (the discount is settled by them on the invoice)
• You have concrete plans to take sustainability measures in your own monument, and within 6 months after completion of the unburdening process you apply to the municipality for a permit to actually implement the intended measures (or have them implemented)

• The sustainability opinion is not older than three months
