Volg Ons

At the Spring Note 2024 was decided on the draft multi-year program 2025 of the climate fund. The cabinet is releasing some 900 million euros of the funds still reserved for making the built environment more sustainable.

- 212 million to continue the interest-free loans in the Heat Fund for households with incomes up to 60,000 euros in 2025
- 450 million euros for the National Insulation Program in 2025 and 2026 for the local approach by municipalities
- 167 million euros for social property sustainability such as schools and care centers. The money is intended to strengthen funding options, support and grants
- For the years 2027-2030, €1.8 billion remains reserved, particularly for ISDE subsidy.

In addition, over €1 billion has been made available from the Climate Fund to further support heat networks, through the Heat grid Investment subsidy WiS (€973 million) and a Heat Networks Guarantee Fund (over €200 million). This contributes to the affordability of newly constructed heat networks.

Finally, over €63 million is available to further support biobased building.

Final decisions will be made when the 2024 Spring Memorandum and the EZK budget are debated in the House of Representatives and Senate.
