Roadmap to applying for ISDE homeowners

Step 1: Choice

Make your choice in advance of what measures you will take and the conditions that apply to them.

Step 2: Report code

If you apply for a subsidy for a solar water heater, heat pump and/or insulation, then the
application asked for a reporting code.

If your measure is on the list, your measure meets the conditions to be included in
qualify for grants.
If your measure is not on the list, you can still apply for a grant. It is important that you apply at

Step 3: Purchase

Once you have found your measure's reporting code, you can go ahead and purchase it.
Note the following:

Step 4: implementing/installing your measures

Before you can apply for a grant, you must first implement the measures. Have the measures carried out by
perform a company(look in your area for a professional company). This may only be done for a
home in the Netherlands. Ask the company for a proof of execution. This is a quotation with

It is also important that you take pictures of the work.
For isolation measures, make sure the following is clearly visible:
- name
- brand
- insulation material type
- thickness of insulation material
If you are not present during the work, a photo of the label and coding will suffice.
Invoice:
Make sure the company lists the correct applied m2 on the invoice and other documents. Check
well or parts of the home may not be eligible.
For example, insulation on a new dormer, new addition or other extension.
Consult carefully with the company doing the work.
The implementation date is when the measures are completed.
The installation date is the date the measure is connected and also working.

Step 5: Preparing your application

Once you have completed the above steps, you can prepare the grant application.
You will need the following items when you fill out the application form:
DigiD
For your application, you need DigiD app og DigiD with SMS verification.
Invoice and Proof of Payment
You will need to send evidence with it, such as digital photos, scans or screen prints.
The following information must be readily and clearly visible for all measures:
- notification code of the solar water heater, heat pump and/or insulation material you purchased
- The number of m2 of insulation material installed, excluding the material that is
applied to increase the living space or volume of your home
- invoice and proof of payment for the solar water heater, heat pump, electric cooking facility and/or
insulation measure
- product description, including brand or manufacturer and type number
- date of purchase
- address of the homeowner and of the company, performer and/or supplier, name and
phone number of company contact person
- date of installing device or applying insulation
- Amount and date of payment
Additional evidence at Insulation measures-glass and frames:
- net area of glass and/or m2 of frame panels per frame
- thicknesses(insulation values including u-value)
- If applicable, the frame state make, type and corresponding frame
- elaboration of dimensions and execution
Additional evidence upon affiliation heat grid:
- the agreement with heat supplier the owner-occupied home is connected to a heat network
- A document proving that the home is not connected to the gas transmission grid and
proof of purchase of your device
Additional evidence electric cooking facility:
- confirmation from your grid operator that the natural gas meter has been permanently removed
- A statement or proof from a heat company that your home is on a heat network
affiliated
- proof of payment electric cooking facility
- invoice from the purchase of electric cooking facility showing that purchase was made after April 1
2022 has taken place
When adding files, note the following points:
- attachment no larger than 50 MB
- use only attachments with extension csv, doc, docx, jpeg, jpg, ods, odt, pdf, txt, xls, xlsx
- maximum length for file names is 75 characters

Step 6: Apply for a grant

Applications can be made through https://mijn.rvo.nl/eloket/login-start.html
Starting in 2023, you may apply for a subsidy if you take 1 insulation measure. You may already
have applied as of April 2, 2022.
Do you take 1 or more measure(s) within 24 months and is this a solar water heater, heat pump
and/or insulation measure then your subsidy amount for the insulation measure(s) doubles.
This applies only if you apply for the subsidy of the 2nd or more measure(s) within 24 months.
The 24 months start when you have the 1st measure implemented.
