Amount

The amount depends on the measure you take and the area where you live. There are municipalities with multiple water boards. To qualify for the subsidy, you must live in the water board's service area. You can know this by checking which water board you pay your annual water tax to.

Main conditions

  • You apply for funding before you start work, up to six months in advance
  • The project takes place in built-up area, such as a village center or town
  • The measures provide long-term improvement: So you can't just undo them
  • You have not previously received funding for the project
  • Newly built homes built after 2008 should not get a subsidy for disconnection, but they do for a green roof
  • A green roof has a water holding capacity of at least 30 liters per m2
  • You have six months to complete the project
