Heat pump subsidy

You can get a subsidy if you buy a heat pump. This makes sustainable heating even more attractive! The amount of this ISDE subsidy depends strongly on the type of heat pump and its capacity. To give an impression, we show the amounts for 3 types of heat pumps with a capacity suitable for many houses. All heat pumps in this example have energy label A++.

• For a hybrid heat pump with outdoor unit with an output of 4kW, you get a subsidy of €2,550.
• For a all-electric heat pump with outdoor unit and a power of 8 kW, the subsidy amount is €3,150.
• For a ground source heat pump with an output of 6 kW, the subsidy is €4,425.
• There are also subsidies for ventilation heat pumps, heat pump boilers and pvt panels.
• For a heat pump with energy label A+++, you get an additional €225 in 2024.
• The exact amounts per device can be found in the reporting code list on rvo.nl.
• Good to know: if you combine the heat pump with an insulation measure, you also get an attractive subsidy for the insulation measure! View the conditions for the insulation subsidy.

From 2024 you will no longer receive a subsidy for heat pumps with energy label A+ or lower. There is a transitional rule if you bought the heat pump in 2023, but it is not installed until 2024: then you will still get the subsidy. Read more about the changes on the website of RFO. Please note that the changes do not apply to heat pump boilers.

Do you combine the heat pump with an insulation measure within 2 years? Then you get the higher subsidy amount per square meter for the insulation measure.
