Do you want to save energy with your neighbors, generate renewable energy, or create awareness about this? Like installing solar panels or insulating cavity walls together with your neighbors.
Then you can apply for a grant for the organization and implementation of the energy project. However, your project must have a clear end date.
Level of subsidy
The amount of the subsidy depends on the number of households you reach. You can receive a maximum subsidy of 2,000 euros per project. The amount for an energy cooperative is a maximum of 5,000 euros.
Requirements for an Energy Cooperative
Are you applying for the grant for an energy cooperative? Then there are additional conditions:
- There is a legal form and/or registration with the Chamber of Commerce.
- The grant is not for starting the cooperative, but only for an energy project.
- You will create a project plan describing the project, its objective and current issues. You indicate how you will involve residents in your project. You also create a budget that clearly describes what you will use the grant for.
