Local Insulation Subsidy Friesland
Private homeowners in Friesland can take advantage of a provincial subsidy scheme for insulating their homes. The subsidy is provided from the municipality.
Who is the grant for?
Owner-occupiers of a property in the province of Friesland
Terms
- The property is called a WOZ value lower than the average for the municipality.
- The house has energy label D, E, F or G or at least two poorly insulated building parts.
- The insulation work did not start before the application was approved.
- The insulation work is carried out according to the Nature-Friendly Insulation method.
- There is also a subsidy for "do-it-yourself" insulation.
What do you receive funding for?
- Façade insulation with an Rd value of at least 3.5.
- Cavity wall insulation
- Roof or attic insulation with an Rd value of at least 3.5.
- Glass insulation: HR++ or triple glazing
- Energy-efficient ventilation (note: only in combination with the above measures)
How much subsidy can you receive?
The grant will reimburse 100% of eligible costs, not to exceed €2,500 per home.
Extra subsidy for low-income earners
Low-income residents (up to €25,350 gross per year or €35,908 aggregate income) can receive additional money from the province Friesland to insulate their homes. The subsidy is for the same measures and comes on top of the municipal subsidy if the cost of the measures is higher. The maximum additional amount is €2,500.
When can you apply for a grant?
The Local Insulation Approach Friesland can be applied for from the municipality until July 1, 2026.
