Do you want to work with a group of homeowners to save energy in your home? Perhaps you can take advantage of the Small Sustainability Subsidy Scheme. This way you reduce energy costs and help the climate. This subsidy is intended for practical support of initiatives such as advice, making plans together for sustainability and/or information actions.
Available subsidy
The subsidy scheme continues through 2024 until the subsidy pot runs out. The grant ceiling in 2024 is €30,450. Applications are processed in order of receipt of a complete application.
For practical support and advice
The grant is for the orientation phase and helps explore opportunities. Consider:
- Practical support for joint information meetings and planning, such as holding meetings (room rental, coffee/tea) and creating information materials (invitations, leaflet);
- Seek advice on what energy measures can be taken (technical/content advice);
- Seek advice on how it can be addressed and realized (financial/organizational advice).
Examples of activities for which you can apply for a grant:
- Inform about insulation measures to show homeowners what you can do about insulation, how to organize and finance it together;
- Information meeting on solar panels and how to make the choices together and have solar panels installed;
- Joint neighborhood plan for taking energy measures with informational materials and meetings;
- Joint exploration of small-scale collective solutions for a shared heat pump when replacing gas-fired central heating boilers.
