Subsidy Scheme for Sustainability and Maintenance of Rental Housing (SVOH).

Landlords can receive subsidies for making their rental properties more sustainable. The Subsidy Scheme for Sustainability and Maintenance of Rental Housing (SVOH) is for insulation, sustainable heating and ventilation.

Terms

  • The property is an existing home (no new construction) and is intended for rental.
  • The rental property was rented before the measures were implemented.
  • The work was performed no more than 12 months ago.
  • The subsidy is a maximum of €10,000 per home. Are you installing a heat pump or solar water heater? Then the maximum is €15,000.

What do you receive funding for?

  • Insulated glass and new window frames.
  • Roof, wall, cavity wall, floor and bottom insulation.
  • Heat pump or solar water heater.
  • Energy efficient ventilation system.
  • Energy advice (only in conjunction with sustainability measures)

Subsidy for insulating glazing

The SVOH scheme allows landlords to receive subsidies for insulating glass.
If you combine glass insulation (within 12 months) with roof, wall, cavity wall, or floor insulation, a heat pump or solar water heater, then you qualify for the higher subsidy amount.

Subsidy for insulation measures

The SVOH scheme allows landlords to receive subsidies for insulation measures. If you combine multiple insulation measures, a heat pump or solar water heater, you are eligible for the higher subsidy amount.

  • Minimum area requirements apply: for facade and cavity wall insulation this is 10m2 per dwelling. For roof and floor insulation, a minimum of 70% of the total roof or floor area of the building must be insulated.
  • It is not possible to apply for subsidies more than once for the same insulation measure.

Subsidy for a heat pump or solar water heater

VvEs can apply for a subsidy to install a heat pump or solar water heater for sustainable heating. The subsidy amount is calculated based on the capacity of the installation. Typically, the subsidy is between 20 and 30% of the cost.

How much subsidy will you receive?

You will receive a maximum subsidy of € 10,000 per home. If you also install a solar water heater or heat pump, this maximum is € 15,000.

Grant for energy efficient home Drenthe

The municipalities of Aa and Hunze, Borger-Odoorn, Coevorden, Emmen, Hardenberg and Hoogeveen (or the Region Deal South and East Drenthe) provide subsidies for making your home more sustainable. Think of energy-saving measures such as insulation, HR++ glass or solar panels.

Maximum €4,000, depending on the measures you implement.

Main conditions

  • You own the property and live in it yourself
  • Your household's aggregate income in 2024 does not exceed €52,671 per year
  • The subsidy can be applied for before or after the work is done, but you must show a signed quote or invoice when doing so (note: there is a risk that the subsidy pot will be empty if you apply afterwards)

Grant monument Laarbeek

For monuments, you can request a contribution towards the cost of maintenance, repair or preservation. You are required to do maintenance if it is necessary for the preservation of the monument. You may not simply rebuild or change monuments. For this you need an environmental permit.

For municipal monuments, apply for this grant from the municipality

Owners of municipal monuments can recover 25% of the eligible maintenance and restoration costs with a maximum of € 10,000 per 5 years. A maximum of half of this amount can be used to insulate the property. You apply for the subsidy prior to the execution of the work. As a monument owner you can receive a one-time maximum subsidy of € 1,000 for a quick scan. It is important that the quick scan is carried out by someone with specific knowledge of monuments, such as Monumentenwacht. North Brabant.

To apply for a grant from municipality, complete the Monument grant application form in. Mail the completed form with accompanying documents to: gemeente@laarbeek.nl. Please include: monument grant application.

For national monuments, apply for this grant from the state

Private homeowners can apply for maintenance and restoration grants each year. The housing subsidy you can apply each year from March 1 to April 30 for costs incurred in the previous year. You can apply for a grant for 38% of the costs. You can find more information on the State Department of Cultural Heritage website.

The municipality of Laarbeek encourages owners of municipal and national monuments to join Monumentenwacht Noord-Brabant. The costs for the subscription and the biannual inspections are subsidized by the municipality. Sustainability Loan Laarbeek

Are you planning to make your home more energy efficient? You may be able to take advantage of the sustainability loan. This allows you to borrow money to invest in an energy-efficient home.

How you arrange it

You can apply for a loan when you have an offer for the energy-saving measures you want to take. You can apply via this application form. If your application is approved, you will receive an allocation letter. With this allocation letter, you will apply for your loan within 8 weeks via www.svn.nl.

What you need to know

The sustainability loan allows homeowners to invest in energy-saving measures. For example, facade, roof or floor insulation, or a solar water heater or heat pump. This way you use more sustainable energy sources, reduce your energy costs and increase living comfort. In addition, it reduces CO2 emissions in the municipality.

Prerequisites:

  • Only owner-occupiers (including CoEs) and tenants can apply for loans.
  • Applying for a loan is possible from May 19, 2020 until the budget runs out. Applicants will be notified in time when the budget runs out.
  • The minimum amount you can borrow is € 2,500. The maximum amount is €10,000.
  • The term of the loan is 15 years. For amounts under €7,500, it is 10 years.
  • The loan is a construction deposit.
  • We want to avoid "stacking" loans. Therefore, the loan cannot be used together with the starter loan.
  • Early redemption can be done penalty-free from €250.
  • SVn (Stimuleringsfonds Volkshuisvesting Nederlandse gemeenten) sets the interest rate and further conditions. SVn tests the loans together with the municipality and takes care of the practical implementation for us.

Solar Panels are not covered by the sustainability loan.
