Grant Energy Fund Together Soest

Do you want to save energy with your neighbors, generate renewable energy, or create awareness about this? Like installing solar panels or insulating cavity walls together with your neighbors.

Then you can apply for a grant for the organization and implementation of the energy project. However, your project must have a clear end date.

Level of subsidy

The amount of the subsidy depends on the number of households you reach. You can receive a maximum subsidy of 2,000 euros per project. The amount for an energy cooperative is a maximum of 5,000 euros.

Requirements for an Energy Cooperative

Are you applying for the grant for an energy cooperative? Then there are additional conditions:

  • There is a legal form and/or registration with the Chamber of Commerce.
  • The grant is not for starting the cooperative, but only for an energy project.
  • You will create a project plan describing the project, its objective and current issues. You indicate how you will involve residents in your project. You also create a budget that clearly describes what you will use the grant for.

Sustainability Loan Soest

With a sustainability loan you can, under good conditions and low interest, borrow money to make your home more sustainable. You can borrow the money for energy-saving measures, such as: wall, roof and floor insulation or HR++ glass. But you can also borrow money for measures to sustainably generate energy or heat. Such as solar panels, solar collectors or a (hybrid) heat pump.

The sustainability loan can be obtained from the National Heat Fund, not with the municipality of Soest. The National Heat Fund is an initiative of the central government. The Heat Fund has existed since 2013 and is the financing instrument of energy transition in the Netherlands.

Disconnecting rainwater Soest

Rainwater is usually very clean. It does not need to flow into the sewer system. In fact, clean rainwater in the sewer makes it more difficult to treat the dirty water. That is why the municipality of Soest is constructing special large facilities. With these we want to keep rainwater out of the sewers and let it sink back into the soil. This is called disconnecting rainwater.

Will you also participate?

You can also disconnect rainwater yourself. The rainwater from your roof or terrace is then disconnected to a storage tank in your garden. You then use this water for your plants or to flush the toilet, for example.

Will you help keep clean rainwater from draining into the mixed sewer system? Then you can get a grant from us for the construction costs.

Terms

You can get a grant if:

  • You own or use the paved surface you want to disconnect. For example, your roof, patio or driveway.
  • It is an existing building or existing, closed pavement within the municipality of Soest.
  • The roof and/or pavement currently drains stormwater into the mixed sewer system.
  • The disconnection has not yet happened.
  • You are not causing a nuisance to adjacent parcels of land
  • The area to be disconnected is clean and at least 20 square meters in size.

Level of subsidy

The subsidy scheme reimburses construction costs up to a maximum of 10 euros per square meter. The subsidy budget for 2024 is 200,000 euros.

 

Electric driving subsidy

Road traffic causes about one-fifth of greenhouse gas emissions in the Netherlands. An electric car does not emit greenhouse gases and nitrogen dioxide while driving. This is why the government encourages electric driving. To encourage the purchase and use of electric cars, there are various tax schemes and subsidies that make electric driving more attractive. Currently, there are the following incentive schemes and tax breaks.

Individuals

Subsidy scheme for private electric cars. From the central government there is a subsidy to buy or lease an electric car more cheaply. The subsidy scheme applies to the purchase or lease of new and used fully electric mid-range passenger cars. More information can be found at Private Electric Passenger Car Grant Program (SEPP)..

BPM exemption

Fully electric cars, both battery-electric and hydrogen-electric are exempt from BPM. More information can be found on the website of the Tax Office.

MRB exemption

Fully electric cars are exempt from motor vehicle tax (MRB). A half rate applies to cars with CO2 emissions of 1 to 50 grams per kilometer. More information can be found on the website of the Tax Office.

Entrepreneurs and business drivers

MIA and Vamil

The Environmental Investment Allowance (EIA) provides a tax benefit for investments in environmentally friendly products or assets, including electric vehicles or a charging station. There are opportunities within the MIA and Vamil for investments in electric driving. More about MIA and Vamil.

Addition benefit

When you drive a company car, and if you drive more than 500 kilometers privately in it per year, you must pay an additional taxable benefit. Does your car emit no CO2? Then the additional taxable benefit is lower. More information can be found on the website of the Tax Office.

This program offers support to homeowners through the expertise of Deventer Energie's Energy Coaches. The Energy Coaches visit applicants at home to jointly assess which insulation measures are most effective. They offer guidance in making decisions.

We are aware of the challenges facing a large number of people, including rising energy costs. These costs make it difficult to release financial resources to make homes more sustainable. With Deventer Helps Insulate, however, we want to provide the opportunity to make significant progress. By working together, we can lower energy bills and ease financial burdens.

Free energy coach Deventer

Subsidy Asbestos off, sun on Deventer

For private and business owners of an asbestos roof there is now the new subsidy scheme "Asbestos eraf, zon erop". With this grant, the province of Overijssel wants to support owners with an asbestos roof larger than 35 m2 in the cleanup of the roof including the replacement for a new energy-saving roof.

Eligibility

The province has made €1,136,735 available for the subsidy scheme. As long as there is budget, a roof owner can apply annually for this subsidy. The main conditions are:

  • The asbestos roof is located in Overijssel and is larger than 35 m2;
  • The removal and disposal of the asbestos roof is done by a certified company;
  • The solar panels be placed on the newly remediated roof;
  • The number of solar panels installed must at least provide for its own electricity consumption;
  • The maximum amount of the subsidy is €5,000 per application and each roof owner can apply for the subsidy once. The subsidy is also paid if, due to capacity problems, it is not yet possible to (re)supply to the network.

Green roofs and facades grant Deventer

As a tenant or property owner, do you want to install a green roof or green facade? If so, you may be eligible for a municipal grant. Is it a new property (built in 2020 or later)? Then there is no grant available for your property.

Little Sustainability Deventer grant

Do you want to work with a group of homeowners to save energy in your home? Perhaps you can take advantage of the Small Sustainability Subsidy Scheme. This way you reduce energy costs and help the climate. This subsidy is intended for practical support of initiatives such as advice, making plans together for sustainability and/or information actions.

Available subsidy

The subsidy scheme continues through 2024 until the subsidy pot runs out. The grant ceiling in 2024 is €30,450. Applications are processed in order of receipt of a complete application.

For practical support and advice

The grant is for the orientation phase and helps explore opportunities. Consider:

  • Practical support for joint information meetings and planning, such as holding meetings (room rental, coffee/tea) and creating information materials (invitations, leaflet);
  • Seek advice on what energy measures can be taken (technical/content advice);
  • Seek advice on how it can be addressed and realized (financial/organizational advice).

Examples of activities for which you can apply for a grant:

  • Inform about insulation measures to show homeowners what you can do about insulation, how to organize and finance it together;
  • Information meeting on solar panels and how to make the choices together and have solar panels installed;
  • Joint neighborhood plan for taking energy measures with informational materials and meetings;
  • Joint exploration of small-scale collective solutions for a shared heat pump when replacing gas-fired central heating boilers.
