The municipalities of Aa and Hunze, Borger-Odoorn, Coevorden, Emmen, Hardenberg and Hoogeveen (or the Region Deal South and East Drenthe) provide subsidies for making your home more sustainable. Think of energy-saving measures such as insulation, HR++ glass or solar panels.
Maximum €4,000, depending on the measures you implement.
Do you want to save energy with your neighbors, generate renewable energy, or create awareness about this? Like installing solar panels or insulating cavity walls together with your neighbors.
Then you can apply for a grant for the organization and implementation of the energy project. However, your project must have a clear end date.
The amount of the subsidy depends on the number of households you reach. You can receive a maximum subsidy of 2,000 euros per project. The amount for an energy cooperative is a maximum of 5,000 euros.

With a sustainability loan you can, under good conditions and low interest, borrow money to make your home more sustainable. You can borrow the money for energy-saving measures, such as: wall, roof and floor insulation or HR++ glass. But you can also borrow money for measures to sustainably generate energy or heat. Such as solar panels, solar collectors or a (hybrid) heat pump.
The sustainability loan can be obtained from the National Heat Fund, not with the municipality of Soest. The National Heat Fund is an initiative of the central government. The Heat Fund has existed since 2013 and is the financing instrument of energy transition in the Netherlands.
The Small Scale Investment Allowance, the KIA, is there to encourage investment in business assets. With this scheme, you can deduct up to a maximum of 28% of your investment in solar panels extra from profits.
If in a fiscal year invests in business assets, you may be eligible for the small-scale investment deduction (KIA). The business assets you invest in must be eligible for the investment deduction.
The KIA is a deduction from your profits. The amount you may deduct depends on the amount invested in the fiscal year. You can find the amount of the KIA in the table:
